Wheels 2 Go Car Rental offers airport pick-up and drop-off services for your convenience. However, as a local car rental company, we are not permitted to conduct any paperwork on airport property.
To ensure a smooth process, we provide a solution where we will pick you up at the airport and transport you to a nearby car lot. There, we will complete all necessary paperwork, including vehicle inspection and payment. Once these steps are finalized, you will be ready to drive off and continue your tropical vacation without any delays.
Wheels 2 Go Car Rental does not have a kiosk at the airport. To ensure you can easily find us upon arrival, please follow the steps below:
Step 1 – Contact Us:
Once you arrive at the arrivals hall, please message us (via email, WhatsApp, or other provided contact details) after connecting to the FREE WiFi.Step 2 – Find Wendy’s Restaurant:
After collecting your luggage, exit the airport and look for the Welcome to Curaçao sign. Walk to your left and proceed toward the Wendy’s Restaurant. We will meet you on the sidewalk outside the restaurant.Step 3 – Paperwork and Vehicle Pickup:
We will complete all necessary paperwork and vehicle inspection right outside the airport, in an open parking lot. Once everything is done, you will be ready to drive away and start your vacation.

The total rental amount and security deposit are due upon delivery of the rental vehicle.
Renters may choose to pay either in cash or by credit card. We accept the following major credit cards:

Please note that payments made by credit card are subject to a 5% commission fee, which also applies to V-Pay cards.

We offer flexibility when it comes to picking up your rental car! You can choose to have the car delivered to the airport or we can bring it to your desired location —whether that’s your hotel, vacation rental, or any other spot in the area. Just let us know your preference, and we’ll arrange the delivery for you.
The rental price includes the following:
Third-Party Liability Insurance
Additional Driver
Unlimited Mileage
Free Pick-Up and Drop-Off at the desired location (Hotel or Airport)
What is NOT included in the rental price:
Fuel costs (The vehicle is provided with a full tank of gas and should be returned with the same level of fuel)
Personal risk: The rental comes with an own risk of $280/500 FL, which will be the renter’s responsibility in case of damage or loss.
The rental agreement is based on the period and rate as agreed in the final reservation. In the event of:
Cancellation by the renter on the day of delivery,
Early return of the vehicle, or
Delayed collection of the vehicle,
The renter will be liable for the full rental amount as per the agreed terms.
The vehicle is returned with the same amount of fuel as when it was rented.
There is no damage to the vehicle.
The vehicle is returned on time, as agreed in the rental agreement.
In the event of any unplanned incidents, such as an unfilled fuel tank, vehicle damage, or a late return, the cost for these issues may be deducted from the security deposit. If the cost exceeds the deposit, the renter will be liable for the difference.
Wheels 2 Go Car Rental provides Third-Party Liability Insurance for all rental vehicles, which is included in the rental price. This insurance covers third-party damages or injuries that may occur while driving the rental vehicle, giving you peace of mind during your rental period.
For additional coverage, Full Risk Insurance is available for $15 per day, which reduces your liability in the event of damage or loss. Please note that even with Full Risk Insurance, you will still be liable for a security deposit of up to $280, which will be refunded upon return of the vehicle in good condition, subject to the terms of the rental agreement.
Additional terms and conditions regarding insurance coverage, exclusions, and liabilities may apply as detailed in the rental agreement.
An international driver’s license is not required to rent a car in Curaçao. Your normal (domestic) driving license is sufficient to drive here. Just ensure that your license is valid and that you meet the legal driving age requirements.
A. Illegal Activities: For any purpose that is contrary to the laws of the country where the car is used.
B. Instructional Purposes: To provide driving lessons or to allow someone to practice driving.
C. Towing or Pushing: To tow or push any vehicle or trailer.
D. Illegal Transport: For the transport of persons or goods in contravention of any law of the country.
E. Participation in Competitions: For participation in car races, rallies, sporting competitions, or treasure hunts.
F. Unfit Drivers: By a driver who is physically or mentally unfit to drive the vehicle. This includes, but is not limited to, drivers who are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substances that impair driving ability.
G. Invalid Driver’s License: By a driver who does not hold a valid driver’s license.
H. Unauthorized Drivers: By a driver who is not listed as a tenant or authorized driver in the rental agreement.
I. Driving on Dirt Roads: The vehicle is not permitted to be driven on dirt or unpaved roads unless expressly authorized.
J. Smoking and Substance Use: Smoking in the vehicle is strictly prohibited, as well as the use of alcohol or drugs while driving.
Failure to adhere to these restrictions may result in penalties, additional charges, or termination of the rental agreement, and the renter may be liable for any damages or legal consequences arising from such use.
Care and Security of the Vehicle:
The renter must handle the vehicle with care and ensure it is securely locked when not in use.
Fines and Legal Violations:
The renter is liable for all costs, fines, and administrative fees resulting from violations of road traffic laws or other legislation during the rental period. This includes any financial consequences of such violations.
Vehicle Condition Upon Return:
The renter must return the vehicle in a verifiable and acceptable condition. If the vehicle is excessively dirty on the inside and/or outside, a cleaning fee of $75 USD will be charged for deep cleaning.
Key and Alarm Case Care:
The renter must ensure that the key and alarm case do not get wet. If the key or alarm case is lost or damaged due to water, the renter will be responsible for the full replacement cost, starting at $80 USD, depending on the type of key.
Damaged or Missing Items:
The renter will be charged for the repair or replacement of any missing or damaged items in the vehicle, including but not limited to:
Gasoline cover: $25 USD
Jack: $50 USD
Radio: $125 USD
Tires: $125 USD
Battery: $150 USD
Excessive Damage:
If the cost of damage to the vehicle exceeds the amount of the security deposit, the renter will be liable to pay the difference.
The renter is expected to take reasonable care of the vehicle throughout the rental period and assume responsibility for any damage, loss, or failure to comply with these terms.

n the event of an accident, the renter is obligated to follow the procedures outlined below in accordance with the terms of the rental agreement and insurance policy:
Inform Wheels 2 Go Car Rental:
The renter must notify Wheels 2 Go Car Rental as soon as possible following the accident.Contact Road Service and/or Police:
The renter is required to immediately contact Curacao Road Service at +599 9 747 1333 and/or the Police in the event of a hit-and-run at +599 9 866 6400.Do Not Move the Vehicle:
The vehicle must be left exactly as it is upon discovery of the damage. Do not move the vehicle unless instructed by authorities or Wheels 2 Go.Complete a Claim Form:
The renter must complete the claim form immediately and gather all necessary details, including:Information about any persons involved in the accident
Details of any other vehicles involved
Contact information of any witnesses
Do Not Acknowledge Fault:
The renter must refrain from admitting or acknowledging fault in any form or manner.Remain with the Vehicle:
The renter must remain with the vehicle at all times until the vehicle is removed by Wheels 2 Go Car Rental or Curacao Road Service, if applicable.Cooperation with Claims Process:
The renter is required to cooperate fully with Wheels 2 Go Car Rental and the insurance company in the defense of any third-party claims resulting from the accident.
Failure to Comply:
If the renter fails to follow the procedures outlined above, the insurance coverage may be voided, and the renter will be responsible for full compensation for damages, as well as any applicable administration fees.
It is crucial that all steps are followed promptly and accurately to ensure the insurance coverage remains valid.
Our fuel policy is Full to Full. This means:
The vehicle will be provided to you with a full gas tank.
You are required to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as when it was rented.
If the car is returned with less fuel than when you received it, you will be charged for the difference at the current fuel rate, plus a refueling fee.
All our cars use gasoline (yellow handle at gas stations). Please ensure you select the correct fuel type when refueling. If diesel is mistakenly used, you will be responsible for all associated costs, even if you have full insurance coverage.
Reservations may be modified upon request. To make changes to your reservation, the renter must contact Wheels 2 Go Car Rental by email, Facebook message, or WhatsApp message with the desired modifications. We will do our best to accommodate changes, provided they are requested within a reasonable time frame before the scheduled rental period.
Please note that changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed if made too close to the reservation date.
When making a reservation, the renter is required to provide flight information. On the day of your arrival, Wheels 2 Go Car Rental will track your flight status online to monitor for any delays. This allows us to adjust our pick-up schedule accordingly and ensure that your car is ready for you upon your arrival, even if your flight is delayed.
The minimum rental period is 3 days. However, if you require a rental for 1 day, this may be accommodated upon request for an additional surcharge. Please contact us in advance to arrange this.
In high season the minimum days is 5+ days.
Sand in the Car:
NO sand is allowed inside the vehicle. If sand is found, a cleaning fee of $25 USD will be charged.
Interior Damage:
NO saltwater on car seats or interior surfaces. If saltwater or any other form of damage is found on the seats, a fee of $25 USD per seat will be charged.
Smoking:
NO smoking is allowed in the car. If we detect smoke residue, a cleaning fee of $150 USD will be charged.
Excessive Dirt or Stains:
If the car is returned in an excessively dirty condition that requires additional cleaning or deodorizing (e.g., food spills, fluids, vomit, stains, or unpleasant odors), a cleaning fee of $150 USD will be charged.
Please ensure the car is returned in good condition to avoid any extra cleaning or damage fees.
Tires are not included in the insurance coverage. Any costs for the repair or replacement of a flat tire will be at your own expense. However, all of our rental cars are equipped with a spare tire and the necessary tools to change it, should the need arise.
Please take care when driving to avoid damage to the tires, and let us know if you need assistance during your rental.
All rental vehicles provided by Wheels 2 Go Car Rental are equipped with air conditioning to ensure a comfortable driving experience in the tropical climate of Curaçao.
